A cargo container and a makeshift office for a centuries-old whiskey maker slid into the Kentucky River on Monday in the wake of heavy rain and flooding, officials said. A "weather-related mudslide occurred on the northeast side of Buffalo Trace Distillery" in Frankfort, Kentucky, early Monday, Victoria Zabel-Wirdak, a spokesperson for the distillery’s parent, Sazerac Co. Inc., said in a statement. The mudslide sent a "cargo container and one temporary office falling into the" Kentucky River, Zabel-Wirdak said.

Nissan Motor Corp. will focus on finding new partnerships to offset costs of developing new automotive technology while bringing new vehicles to market faster as it works to return to profitability, according to President and CEO Makoto Uchida. Uchida outlined the automaker’s strategy during the company’s Q3 earnings call on Feb. 13. It was the same day that Nissan and Honda Motor Co. disclosed merger discussions had ended after the companies were unable to find common ground on a new corporate structure.
Ryan Reynolds was allegedly difficult on the set of one of his earlier films, according to his one-time co-star Matthew Lawrence. On his "Brotherly Love Podcast," Lawrence shared his recollection of working with Reynolds on the film, "Boltneck," released in 2000. "The production team was having a really hard time with Ryan," Lawrence said, emphasizing that "this was young Ryan."
