Ratings for the Grammy Awards dipped from last year, despite the nail-biting tension of whether Beyoncé would win album of the year and a surprise appearance by The Weeknd. Sunday night’s broadcast on CBS was seen by 15.4 million viewers according to Nielsen. That represents a decline from 2024, which was seen by 16.9 million, a 34% increase from the year before. The numbers so far only account for viewers on CBS. The telecast was also available to stream by those who purchased the Paramount+ With Showtime package. Due to last month’s devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, the Grammys scaled back marketing efforts ahead of the

Since taking office, Trump has dropped talk of Putin’s strategic "genius" and “savvy.” In a conspicuous rhetorical shift, Trump has instead been warning that the Russian president he once called "very smart" is leading his country to ruin by prolonging the war.

Kate Middleton wants the world to focus on her work, not her wardrobe. The Sunday Times reported that Kensington Palace, which handles the office for the Prince and Princess of Wales, will cut back on naming the labels the mother of three wears when she's out in public completing royal duties. Last year, officials at Incheon International Airport (ICN) confiscated a total of 10.7 tons of the country’s must-have side dish from passengers violating the ban on liquid in carry-on luggage, according to the airport. That’s because pre-packaged kimchi often comes in a bottle or plastic bag and is soaked in spicy sauce, meaning it counts as a liquid. Like many other airports around the world, authorities at ICN ban liquids and gels exceeding 100ml in carry-on luggage.
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, is working to cut federal spending, shrink the government's workforce and increase the efficiency of federal agencies. DOGE was created by President Donald Trump through an executive order he signed on Inauguration Day. Under the order, DOGE will be a temporary organization within the White House that will spend 18 months until July 4, 2026, carrying out its mission. The group has faced criticism over its access to federal systems, including the Treasury Department's payment system, as well as moves to cancel federal contracts and make cuts at various agencies. A treasury official told lawmakers in a letter to Congress that DOGE has "read-only" access to the payment system, although the agency later acknowledged a DOGE team member briefly had the ability to edit code as the result of an accident.

The change is effective immediately and will remain “until further notice,” according to an alert posted to the agency’s website. Letters and large envelopes, referred to as “flats,” sent from China and Hong Kong won’t be impacted, the USPS said.
